April 20th has been a holiday long celebrated throughout Colorado. This year Headed West is beginning the holiday celebration early by participating in FirePower Productions 3rd Annual 420 Rally PreBake Event! This event helps get the community excited a week in advance of the actual 420 holiday with a presentation of live glassblowing, a variety of different visual and body arts, live music, local food, and much more.
On Saturday, April 11th this free event will take place from 12noon – 9pm in the parking lot of Headed West and Preferred Organic Therapy (POT) at 1565 S. Colorado Blvd. in Denver. If you have never had the opportunity to see live glassblowing this is an event not to be missed! The glassblowing competition is hosted by Hill Top Glass Supply Company and features local and national artists. There will be live musical performances from P-Nuckle, Brad Kinney of DOB, N8tron Music, The Rye Pushers, and Lois and the Lantern. Visual artists include End of Days Tattoo, Patrick McGirr, and SixCircleStudio, and Caballero Arts & Entertainment. Food truck by Bomb Tacos. The event is sponsored by Headed West, Preferred Organic Therapy (POT), Grassroots California, Happy In Colorado, Organic Mechanic Massage, LLC., and 420 Rally at Denver’s Civic Center Park.
